81 Pinto fires well over the bar from 25 yards out.

79 Borini turns well at the front post and forces Chiotis into a good save with a shot from a tight angle.

77 Lampard almost finds Belletti with a clever through ball but Helio Pinto just manages to get a toe to the ball and divert it behind for a corner.

75 Mirosavljevic tries to get on the end of a cross as APOEL embark on a rare attack by Carvalho rises above the striker.

73 Kakuta is replaced by Fabio Borini.

72 Malouda drives the ball a foot past the post from 25 yards out. He rather dragged his effort and will be disappointed.

71 Kosowski makes way for Mirosavljevic.

69 Joe Cole looks like he is going for a cross from the right flank but the ball spins in the air and comes off the crossbar.

67 Lampard almost gets on the end of Kakuta's cutback but Paulo Jorge gets in the way.

65 Both players are back on their feet and will be able to continue after a short delay.

64 Kakuta and Elia clash heads from a throw and both players have remained on the ground.

63 Joe Cole does well on the left again but his cross is well held by Chiotis.

61 Joe Cole's shot is deflected behind for a corner. A third goal looks likely before too long.

60 Malouda looks for Drogba but Poursaitides makes a good interception.

58 Belletti is dispossessed by Nuno Morais but the forward takes too long in the box and Belletti gets back to make a good challenge.

56 Drogba takes the kick but sends his effort wide of the post. Not quite in the same class as his goal at the Emirates.

55 Free-kick to Chelsea 25 yards from goal as Michail climbs all over Drogba.

53 Nuno Morais' deflected shot from the edge of the box is turned round the post by Turnbull. Good stop.

51 Joe Cole does well to ride a challenge in midfield before blasting high over the bar with his right foot.

49 Drogba looks like he has recovered from his injury - if there was any doubt he would surely be replaced immediately.

48 Drogba is currently attempting to run off an injury and will require treatment.

46 Chelsea get the second half under way at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are now just 1/16 ton win the game with APOEL 40/1 and the draw 8/1. Sky Bet's Stewart Beesley said: "Chelsea bounced back after the early shock and have been popular ever since. Plenty of chances and it is 10/11 over 4.5 goals."

42 Lampard shows good feet on the edge of the box to make space for the shot, but Michail gets across well and manages to block the effort.

40 Joe Cole is played through on goal but hesitates and, under pressure, his tame shot is easily saved by Chiotis. Should have been 3-1.

39 Florent Malouda lashes a shot just wide of the post from 25 yards out. Good powerful strike by the Frenchman.

37 Elia plays the ball against Belletti and APOEL have a throw. Chelsea have enjoyed 62% possession so far, that's how dominant they have been.

35 Joe Cole's cross is comfortably gathered by Chiotis.

34 Haxhi gave it a go but he is unable to continue and Elia takes his place.

33 The APOEL fans continue to make all the noise inside Stamford Bridge despite being behind. Tremendous support from the Cypriots.

32 Paulo Jorge does well to dispossess Drogba.

31 Now Haxhi of APOEL has picked up what looks like a hamstring injury and he may have to be replaced too.

29 Good fightback by Chelsea - they have completely dominated since going behind. But the loss of Essien must be a big concern for Blues fans.

27 Lampard is finally on to replace the injured Essien.

26 GOAL - DROGBA. Being down to ten men doesn't harm Chelsea in any way as Kakuta plays in Zhirkov with a neat through ball and the Russian squares to Drogba who makes no mistake with the finish from 15 yards out.

24 Chelsea go on the attack, still a man down as Lampard gets himself ready to replace Essien.

23 Frank Lampard is getting ready to come on - not a bad sub to have!

22 Essien limps off the field and will have to be replaced.

21 Essien has gone down with what looks like a hamstring problem - a worrying sight for Chelsea fans.

19 GOAL - MICHAEL ESSIEN. Essien picks the ball up 25 yards out and sends a rasping drive into the back of the net. It was a powerful shot and it did swerve but Chiotis should really have saved it - it was almost straight down the middle.

19 Joe Cole cuts in from the left flank but his shot from the edge of the box is blocked.

18 First yellow card of the game is shown to Zhirkov for a late challenge on Kosowski.

17 Chelsea have enjoyed the bulk of possession since falling behind by the visitors are defending well.

11 Broerse's ball forward is too long for his team-mates and Turnbull gathers.

9 Good work on the left again by Zhirkov leads to a Chelsea corner. The Russian has been lively so far.

8 What a noise the visiting fans are making! APOEL have started brightly, they don't look like a side with just two points from five games so far.

6 GOAL - ZEWLAKOW. A shock opener for the Cypriots! Excellent move by APOEL on the left, Charalambides feeds Zewlakow with a neat pass in behind the Chelsea defence and the forward slots the ball past Turnbull.

4 Good disguised free-kick by APOEL fools the Chelsea defence and Ross Turnbull is forced to make a save from Kosowski's shot. Smart play by the visitors.

1 APOEL get the game under way at Stamford Bridge.

Unsurprisingly, Chelsea are hot favourites to win this game at 2/5 with Sky Bet. The draw is 3/1 and an away win 6/1. Sky Bet's Stewart Beasley said: "England skipper John Terry has made the line up after all and is 20/1 to score first."

Gael Kakuta makes his full Chelsea debut in tonight's Champions League clash with APOEL. Kakuta, the player at the centre of the club's suspended transfer embargo, starts behind striker Didier Drogba who is preferred to the benched Nicolas Anelka. Goalkeeper Petr Cech is rested so Ross Turnbull made his first start between the sticks. Captain John Terry is given the all-clear to take his place in the centre of defence after struggling with a knee injury but Frank Lampard is included among the substitutes.

Chelsea: Turnbull, Belletti, Terry, Carvalho, Zhirkov, Mikel, Essien, Joe Cole, Kakuta, Malouda, Drogba. Subs: Hilario, Ivanovic, Lampard, Anelka, Bruma, Borini, Philliskirk.

Apoel Nicosia: Chiotis, Poursaitides, Broerse, Paulo Jorge, Haxhi, Morais, Michael, Charalambidis, Pinto, Kosowski, Zewlakow. Subs: Kissas, Papathanasiou, Satsias, Elia, Jean Paulista, Mirosavljevic, Breska
